I am slowly converting Weaver Pullman Bradley cars from the small window into picture window streamlined New Haven cars.  I have one mostly finished but I am stymied re window treatment.  Flush windows would be great, but I have no idea how to make them.  Has anyone made flush windows?   If so how did you do it.

Hello ,

Plastruct has some thinner types of lexan or acrylic plastic. Find a company with a laser , a sign shop , sign shops have 1/16th which might work ,

then give them the car and tell them what you need done , the process is called rastering . meaning the laser burns away part of the edge to create a flange to let the window glass stick thru partially with out falling thru the opening. Then use canopy glue to hold them in.

Hopefully all your window openings you have modified are the same exact size.
