Flyer 918 Mail Car

Hey There,

Has anyone retrofitted a streamlined shell on to a 918 heavy weight mail car? I am in the process of getting some streamlined passenger cars that are good repaint candidates to put together a Royal Blue passenger set. I would rather use the streamlined cars than the heavyweights.

The location of the mail hook and the power truck are critical for operation. While I haven't measured them, I think the Flyonel streamline baggage car body may work well for this. I can almost guarantee you'll have to mount the mail pickup mechanism on the streamline chassis.
