What type of foam board works best for creating brick and concrete walls. I have seen some YouTube videos from Germany where they used Canson foam board but they didn’t provide a product number. They said it was important to get the right type of foam board. They peel one side of the paper off to provide the texture. They said it was a thicker paper to make it easier to peel and it was slightly grayish in color. The foam itself is made from a particulate and not air.

Agree... Pink, Blue or Green from your favorite Box Store. You can also use the thinner dollar store foam board to make smaller structures that need to be flexible. I made a small brick retaining wall. And save all of your scrap. Glue them together, hack the heck out of it and make a mountain.

My current unfinished tunnel portal.
The thin foam also works great for making buildings. I left the paper on this foam and used a hobby knife to simulate the brick pattern.

I posted this about Precision Board a while ago But I guess it's worth posting again. I would think Foam Board would be hard to work with all-tho I have never used it. Enclosed is an article about Precision Board and some structures I have made with it.
