I have a factory size piece of foam board about 20 x 28. We had a bit of water seepage and the foam board has 'dished' in the middle.
I can cut the pieces I need for a card stock project, but the warp will still be present. Is there a way to flatten foam board? Should I do the procedure before or after cutting to the sizes I'll need.

You might want to consider styrene sheet that comes in a variety of thicknesses ( such as Evergreen or Plastistruct)as I assume you are using the material to glue or laminate a printed cardboard material onto it. I know of no way to correct the foam hence my reply and suggestion.

Another option is to use Gatorfoam - very similar to Foamcore, but instead of a paper based outer material, it is a tough wood veneer (doesn't look like wood though). No warpage at all with dampness. MicroMark carries it.
Foamboard will straighten out when braced or glued down.
I've used it for sidewalks and foundations. These were beginning to warp even after painting, but once glued down, they were fine:

The roundhouse foundation began to curl up and seeing I may need to remove it if ever I get around to building the roundhouse, the ends were tacked down with small nails:
For structure walls, 1/4" x 1/4" wood bracing should take care of most issues.

It's a $1 a sheet at the dollar store......if it's damaged toss it and spend $1 on a new one. I use Foamcore, MDF, styrene and matt depends on the area and needs.
