Hi All,
When did the ATSF start using the very large emblem which covers the side of the car (reefer and boxcar) from roof to the bottom of the car?

Ed, Just wondering if you had any images of those cars? I don't remember them.....and a lot of other stuff. LOL
I think the new BNSF color scheme managed to ruin 3 really good old ones.

I don't have any pictures. My reason for asking the question is I am trying to acquire a couple of Santa Fe cars suitable for the mid-fifties. There were several with this large emblem on them on ebay and since they are NEW in 1959-1960, they are unsuitable for my needs.
If you need images, try looking at ebay. They have pictures of everything that is for sale.
