It’d be fun to see some steam and smoke from different engines. I thought this one was a good steamer. Anyone else have vids of steam or smoke?

Yeah, I do. Santa was good to me; I must of behaved my self enough this year.
did your whistle steam work out of the box?
It worked well from the start. Why? Are you having problems with a unit?
Yes my whistle steam doesn't work
Did you check the switch for the smoke unit? If it’s on, hold the whistle lever down, put your face close the hole, and see if there’s a warm stream of air coming out. Turn the engine sounds off and see if you can also hear the fan unit. Otherwise, maybe Lionel can help if it’s under warranty. Sorry to hear that. Y6b?
Fan works cool air comes out and it is a y6b It has a ticket to lionel
I’m confident they’ll take care of you. It’s a fantastic engine. One of my favs.
I will say I was very pleased with the weathering just disapointed it didn't work they have taken care of things for me I the past been pleased always

You also would have benefitted being a bad ole boy, getting coal in your stocking for your beautiful steam engine. LOL
I'm sure many of you know that MTH does a good job with their smoking engines.
This one is a Proto 1 Texas & Pacific:
This one is a Proto 1 Jersey Central diesel:

In my reply above, both engines smoked well but the diesel did not show much smoke in the video.
In another post, someone showed a video of a real steam engine pouring out enormous black smoke. Another Forum member commented wouldn't it be great if we could control the color of the smoke (black or white).
Imagine filling your train room with enormous black smoke from your steam engine? If so, hope it isn't carcinogenic.

Ooooh I hadn’t thought of it that way...I’ll then be REAL bad this coming year! Hahaha
