Today I found Rail King item 30-77335 waiting for me when I showed up for work (LHS).  Looked very nice....as I would expect!!.  Paid for it.  Brought it home.  Pulled up my Excel inventory program to enter my new purchase, and.......Say WHAT?????

I already have it?!?!?  This VERY SAME caboose was issued as a Premier item, 20-91194, in 2006?!?!  Caboose number 1789R.

And there it was on the side of today's Rail King purchase....1789R!!!

Sorry to say, I'm very disappointed.  I full well understand that Rail King Scale items, of which this caboose is representative, are essentially equal to their Premier counterparts in nearly every way/dimension.  But to have the very same car number on the very same paint scheme 12 years later........????

What's baffling to me is that in the prototypical realm, this car/number was part of a class (1750-1874) of Santa Fe waycars numbering 125!!!   One hundred twenty five different numbers in this class.....and your latest release duplicated one of the two you had already issued????

"C'mon, man!"  Not expected.....not appreciated.  I mean, how hard/expensive would it be to change the printing die for the car number leaving absolutely everything else in the tooling/build specs identical to the 2006 run???

Needless to say by now, I'm an ATSF maven.  Your rendition of this caboose is basically EXCELLENT in comparison to other manufacturers' Santa Fe waycar (sic).  But to use the same car number twice???

......

....being returned for credit towards another purchase.

BTW....you're forgiven.....but don't let it happen again!..........please?
