Corresponded with him a couple of years ago regarding refurbishing some standard gauge track.  His prices seemed reasonable, but the deal fell apart because the cost of shipping the track to him (and then back to me) was prohibitive - it was far cheaper to just buy new track.  I wish you luck, but track is bulky (higher cost) and transformers are heavy (even more $), so you might make very little in the end.

If you have a relationship with a company that does a lot of shipping, maybe you ship through them and get lower rates.

if you are looking to just get rid of track tin man is the place.

if you are looking to get lots or even a small amount of money don't count on it unless your track is in excellent condition.

they will pay for shipping all you have to do is send them the weight and size of the box you are shipping, but with shipping costs so hi my last two shipments go me zero dollars.
