Just looked through Mullet River offerings (which showed only one side door caboose while I have two different

side door kits from them), and saw that they have truck KITS (not inexpensive!), that included CB&Q caboose

trucks, and FOX trucks, idenified as circa 1901, which is later than I thought was the period for Fox trucks offered

once by Central Valley in HO.  So...How late were Fox trucks used on Class one railroads in the U.S.?  They were

replaced by archbars, when?, which were outlawed, when? (on Class Ones/interchange).

Fox trucks weren't "replaced" by archbar trucks; they existed concurrently. Fox trucks were used from about 1890 to about 1910. Afer that, they simply fell out of favor, and were used less and less. Some freight cars in museums still have them.

Arch bars were banned December 1, 1939, with a grace period until June 1, 1940 to return empties to their owners.
