Hello Delta Lines fans ...visited the TCA library yesterday ...they offer a DVD with movie footage of Delta Lines...contact Lori the librarian...10.00 plus shipping.
Footage varies to quality, B&W ...and color ..only opportunity I know of to see movie footage of the layout. Shot later period...running Lionel F3's, 700E, Scale Craft Mountain, Parmelle T1, Budd car, some traction pieces.
The DVD has standard gauge footage on the first half ..not Ellison ? , fun footage of early Lionel ...then Delta Lines...then Ellison out with the crew watching real trains in a passenger yard...then back to Delta Lines.
The footage shows areas of the layout not seen in the still photos ....which were carefully shot ... Here you see the low hanging vent pipes, wood posts , unfinished areas,...etc...a real basement layout .
Yes it would have been nice had better lighting, film, steady cam, cameras, all been used.....but if this is all there is it's precious ....at 10.00 it is a bargain ...here are a few screen shots .....order your copy today !!! Cheers Carey,
