yes, unfortunately the original Frank the Trainman (Frank Cox) retired in 1981 and passed away eight years later.
the building at 4310 Park Blvd was a classic in itself...

only the neon sign was visible from Park.

the building has since been razed, but the neon was saved.
the current "Frank" is actually Jim Cooley.
