Barry,

My Etekcity Remote control outlet switch package came and you were definitely right they are an upgrade from the Stanley Indoor remotes.   On the front of my box it reads ZAP/5LX, Etekcity Remote Outlet Switch 5 Pack 2 Remotes.  You were also correct about the instruction wording, it stinks.  Also it does not advise the user that when programming each individaul switch outlet you must remove the prior programmed Etekcity switch outlet, from the wall plug, when they are in the same room, the outlets are not shielded from each other when programming.  Those that are close to each other get reprogrammed to the new button setting also.  Barry in your case it did not matter you were programming everything for button one, so it just repeated itself memory wise, in my case I learned to remove the programmable outlet before programming the next one.  In any case these programmable remotes are way cool and work well for all the train layouts, the outside lighting and Christmas indoor lighting also.  I used 2 different programmable switches & numbers for the platform lighting and the trains, so if I need to shut the trains down in an emergency, I still have lighting to see by.  The 2 remote control units for all this really makes it nice especially for the trains power control.   Thanks for finding the programmables Barry!
