On both MTH and LGB trucks the wires are connected to the trucks with 4 wire plugs. I have a set of trucks here from an LGB Genesis. I need to connect them. The pins sticking out look silver colored. I don't think they'll take solder? Being a special 4 wire connector that I can't seem to locate, I was hoping just to find some ends that I could insulate. The wide 4 wire LGB plug looks special and has a space in the middle where a plastic tab goes in.

I went to the Digi-key site and still came up empty. I need 8 connectors that would fit over solid wire (rod). What should I look for?

I typed in pin connectors and got the male version. I obviously need the female side.

I'm considering just taking small brass tube, crimping it slightly, and soldering it to wire?
