The missus and I were in Dallas this past week for a friend of mine's wedding and we stayed at the Gaylord Texan hotel in Grapevine. Without having done my due diligence before arriving, I had no idea they had such impressive G-scale and 3-rail layouts in the main atrium. A quick search of this forum shows that a few members helped build and maintain the layouts - well done guys!
Unfortunately none of the 3-rail trains were running on either Saturday or Sunday except for the trolley, but I still enjoyed the layout nonetheless! I particularly like the transition from Standard O Lionel Fastrack to what I think is Gargraves on the trestle, as well as the mountain bikers!
I didn't get any photos of the G-gauge layout in the center (this is after all the O Gauge forum :-) ) but that layout was super impressive! If you're ever in the Dallas area, I highly recommend either staying at or simply visiting the Gaylord Texan!
