1. Grandt Line is closing and everyone is wondering who will get what parts of the company.

2.  Mullet River has been bought and you will see the kits being reintroduced in O scale, boxcars first.

3. Rails Unlimited had a new double door 40" Milwaukee Road boxcar with the ribbed sides.

4. Protocraft had more new decals.  Waiting to see what his next cars will be.

5.MMW had beautiful pre-production samples of the SD-45 painted and unpainted.

6. Sunset was showing some potential things and had PAs sitting on top for people to view.

7. Lee Turner was there and I walked by him no telling how many times without realizing it so I didn't get to talk to him.  I still have kits he did for modifying the Intermountain boxcar kits.

8. I saw more Midland Production kits at one time than I've seen over the last 10 years.  I bought a Wabash/N&W dome kit for $100.

9. There were some beautiful built buildings for sale and they seemed to be selling.

10.  P&D and Des Plaines seemed to be selling lots of detail parts and other things.

The list goes on but others can add to it.  Just be positive, karma is a wonderful thing!!!

Ted Schnepf/Rails Unlimited also just came out with a Milwaukee Road single sheathed box car.

These are must-haves since they are the Milwaukee's signature steam and transition era car and even more so than the more famous rib side cars.

And great news about the Mullet River line purchase.

And the news was reported that the shelf couplers from GPM are on their way into production and that they were/are based upon the  Protocraft type E.

I'd rather not say as I was told by purchaser in conversation so I will let them announce it.  I will say that they already own a laser cutter, plan on having someone running the laser 5 days a week instead of once a month, going to put Mullet Rivers website info up under their main name, and so on.  I can say they have a lot of experience managing their own product lines so I am looking forward to adding to my caboose kit collection to build.
