This question always lingers in my mind when someone asks me about the Milwaukee Road 95xx passenger car offerings.

I always thought it was weird Lionel offered a substitution for the George Washington observation car in  the Milwaukee Special Passenger set in the Franklin Delano Roosevelt campaign car. Washington set precedent in limiting the office of President to only two terms and Roosevelt broke precedent by being elected to four terms.

I wonder if there had been a world wide web at the time what the reaction would have been in the forums.

Probably a question that should remain unasked but maybe not.
