Nick,
That's what I've been doing the last 3 days. Now that I have my Atlas turntable and MTH single-stall engine shed in place I decided to get started on the ground cover
Also got to play with my Williams "J" and Weaver passenger cars
Still have a lot to do, but the basics are down, finally!

The bench work has not arrived yet (supposed to be coming next week, I hope), so I can't start just yet. Won't be long now though!
Built 16 more feet of bench work today.....about 12 feet to go....I will then start constructing the road beds and laying track........running trains before Thanksgiving I hope.
I've been looking forward to this vacation which started today. Going to rebuild my MIANNE bench work from an island to an around the room. 20'x8'x10'. Hoping for great strides during the next week and half.
Thanks for added push!
Buying my plywood tomorrow and decking the layout on Sunday.
My annual Christmas display at the Redford Theatre in Detroit (stays up for about two months) will start being constructed at the end of October. I'm actively organizing materials and planning the appearance and expansions for this years display until I can start setting it up. I get my layout fix for the year from that, then work on the real ones during the summer and play with the modular club during our train show season between November and June (approximately)
Awsome guys let's keep at it!Nick
