Getting request to login in order to read (only) certain messages in Daily Digest (email)

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. It might be depend on specifically which forum the post is in. Some forums are only available to digital subscribers, and a login would be required to see them.

It's either that, or your computer is not storing the forum login credentials properly. In that case, delete the browser cache and cookies and log in again.

Rich, I am both a print and digital subscriber (old timer needs paper). I would have assumed the "system" would know that and allow access. I guess I shouldn't assume. Thanks for clearing up my confusion.

The system only "knows" that you are a digital subscriber (Thank you very much!) if you are logged in.

Just a followup to close out this string. My deleting the browser cache and cookies and logging back in again did solve my issue. Thanks again for your help.
