Good to see a number of layouts started of late......bodes well for the hobby it seems.

some people have questioned the use of 1X2' for much of the framing,  I built this (rather am building this) to be able to stand on it if i have to,  now i weigh 206, and am 6'3"  so not a light weight, and i have bounced up and down on the joints and not a problem, all dado joints, all screwed and glued using "gorilla" glue (wear gloves or be prepared to have it take days to wear off)

this thing is strong

not to figure out the ratio for elevation changes  seen that here on the fourm and i ahave asked also, but now an ready to put into use

sure glad i put insulation and air conditioning in this thing, been low to mid 90's all week long, but quite comfortable in the room

It looks like the 1x2 are attached to OSB sheets. This would create a 'stressed skin' construction that should be very strong. I went the 2x4 route as I am in the basement weight not an issue....and I'm a big guy too so I wanted something I could crawl on.

see if i did this right

as noted all numbers are rounded up, offset or uneven legs due to door opening, and there is complete walk around for entire layout.  I think that there is a lot of wiggle room for many options and plans

original plans called for it to be wall to wall, but after seeing it in the "rough" i changed it,  now have complete walkaround and did not lose any sq footage but feel i gained some, 

i moved it out of corner  now can walk around it quite easily
