I am putting out a sort of Halloween challenge.  Has anyone built a copy of the firehouse from Ghostbusters out of Ameri-Towne kits?  The A-T firestation kit could be kit bashed enough for the 2nd and 3rd floors, but the 1st floor with the barn doors would have to be fabbed or repurposed.  Lionel tunnel portal?  This could get interesting!

Any idea what the measurements are on the kit or the MTH base?

I am thinking that the Marty's Train Depot kit is actually a closer fit - no gingerbread on the building corners.  I would probably order an extra building front so I could have a spare window insert.  You could probably do the base with a tunnel portal and some foam board or in legos...

I have the fire station kit. The stone pilaster on the corners of the fire station is an add on piece.

The real  firehouse is located a few blocks south of Canal St in TriBeCa on North Moore. It is a block for the Franklin Street subway stop. If you ever walk by and the door is open the sign from Ghostbusters Two is inside mounted high on the left wall.

They really decorate it nicely for Christmas with huge wreaths and Garland outside.

The Ameritown kit stacked above a more stone like base level would look kind of close.

A few years back Hallmark made an Ecto 1 ornament that is pretty close to O scale.
