That is awesome!  Ok, any experts know if this could work for larger 40 watts or 60 watts LED's?  The ones you would use in you home lighting fixtures. I have some new thoughts on Halloween décor.

Another option is to consider buying the yellow LED reels, I've done a passenger car with them to see how they compare to the warm white that I typically use.  I'm bringing the two to York.

Going to try this with the headlight of the PS3 Imperial Triplex I just acquired.  That cool blue headlight is a turn-off!

This ought to fix the headlamps on my Lionel Birney car!  I tried the yellow headlamp tint that came with some British OO headlamps, but it didn't really do anything.  I went out and purchased this paint earlier this week.  I just need to apply it now.

I ordered a bottle by mail as soon as I watched the video, as my nearest hobby shop is over an hour away.

Ditto, I ordered them on line via Amazon at LED Distribution. They wholesale everything including Christmas lights.

You can also snap up some Orange LED's at your favorite box store for pennies on the dollar now that Halloween is over.

Apologies, I've been very busy lately with another project (non-railroad related).  I have not got around to applying the paint yet, but I was just thinking about this mod earlier today.

Aaron and all--I applied the Tamiya X26 clear orange on my Lionel ALCos and it nicely eliminates the blue and gives it a more prototypical yellowish color.
