GN R-2.

The engine was purchased when first available and, also, has been very reliable.

Good detail and glacier park colors with blackened drivers and running gear.

All the cars are MTH's except the one 21" baggage car from K-line.

Stoshu,

As curly would say 'sointainly'!.

You may hear me make a remark in the video as I noticed the tire off as she came around the corner.  Actually, both sides were off.  I put her up on the bench and put them back on and used some thin CA to secure them.  The other side also had a 'connecting' hose loose to the engine.  The R-2 had a rubber hose on the tender side that slide into a pipe under the cab.  Got 'em all fixed.  Did you also notice all the cob webs too (free rides for the spiders).  Nothing like a picture or video to bring out glaring problems!

Pretty impressive for this engine to pull 15 passenger cars with only the front two rubber tires!

Beautiful loco; I've admired them for years. The Weaver brass version of the same loco

is tempting, also. Either way, the R-2 is sharp.

I enjoyed hearing the sound you made when you saw what was flopping around on the

carpet - the universal "that traction tire is off" short moan. I've made it many times.

I leave them off if the locos running does not change.
