That's a lot of work!!! Some cool fantasy designs.......but I vote for more prototype schemes.......the new NP design is nice but I'm passing on it as it is too much fantasy and not enough 'real'.......
How many engines to pull that consist?
Those are colorful, but some suffer for lack of the road's logo. Wabash needs the "Follow the Flag" logo. I am all for "fantasy" and "historic" schemes on locos and rolling stock, but I always look for the logo.
I vote for more prototype schemes also. It's not like there's not any colorful prototype paint schemes out there.
Fantasy schemes can backfire (ie, stay on the shelves) if not enough customers with cash buy into the flight of fancy.
Good Day,
I enjoy and admire the prototypical color schemes as well as the fantasy schemes. The art of finding the right balance will always be a challenge! Menards offers some of both! Good Job!

I like the Western Maryland black but without the FireBall logo it doesn't do anything for me.
I dig them all Swafford. I think are minds are alike. Nick T

I think the NYC pattern should be used in your Boston and Maine paint scheme. I would like to see a black stripe through the Virginian hopper with the print reversed (like MTH's hi-cube Virginian).

I would like to see an Interstate hopper in the Cream and Orange as well as more Bicentennial hoppers. How about some more Southern heritage hoppers.

I change up my avatar from time to time!

Hi Swafford: Thanks for posting all the D&M Illustrations. Below are some photos from my layout, All D&M.
Build by Williams: Covered hopper.
Build by Lionel: Boxcar
Build by MTH-RailKing: Coal hopper.
Gary: from Michigan, home of the D&M
A lot of great ideas here, we just need more models available, like a ACF hopper, scale gondolas, standard cuploa caboose, 50' DD or Plug Door boxcars. I think the major attraction is the price and picking them up locally which is easy for me. It's litterally 5 minutes from my house.
