Kind of looks like my drive way right now!
I have had enough. I am ready for spring.
Hey Rod,
You definitely picked a good year to stay down south; winter has been brutal this year, and no let-up in sight.

Sorry, but the groundhog saw his shadow, six more weeks of winter.
wow! here in Maine my lawn is showing up..
Come to our part of Maine and you won't see lawn. And we are not that far away from you. You live near the ocean and that makes a huge difference.

Our mayor dropped the groundhog. I wonder what that portends

Hmmm.
Isn't that loco about 16' high?
That's a ton of snow!

Hi Rod. You picked a great time to be in the South.
Our weatherman said last night that we have received more snow this winter than the combined total of the last two years. And we have a lot more forecast for Tuesday and next weekend.

Would love snow as we have had the wettest season since 1775!has not stopped raining.

They usually get about 32 feet a season.
at least he Tunnel has not been renamed the "MacHunter"!
Awesome picture, Rod!!! Tom
Arright, guys, anybody wanna get on snow removal, sign the sheet before
ya's leave today . . . .
Here you are zipping down the hill on your brand new skis you got for Christmas and then wham! Your a hood ornament on a Dash 9
Looks like they need to extend the snow shed. That looks like avalanche snow. There don't appear to be much on top of the snow shed.
Well, We are going to get hit on Wednesday.
That's the tunnel entrance in the background. The tunnel is about 10 mile along and has three doors in it to handle air recirculation. There is a shaft near the center of the tunnel and a door. There are doors at both ends. The blowers and doors work to change the air to keep the tunnel clear.
Tunnel under construction, note the TransCanada highway to the left. This is near where the photo with all the snow was taken:
This is what the east portal looks like.
The ground falls away pretty quickly to the left and it's a pretty steep slope to the right.
Hey how did this get moved back to the Hi-Rail forum?
The moderators moved it to Real Trains (where it should be) and when I posted to it above, poof, it moved back to H-Rail! Whazzzup??
Moderators; help please?

Great pic Rod! And I agree with the others, I've had enough. 30+ on the ground now, 5-10 Wed and then more Sat-Sun...
Sucks more with this tucked away for winter...

Rod - I would love to join you but it's that family thing! Spent yesterday taking Dad to various Dr appointments and lunch. Nice to still be able to spend some time together. He loves the yellow beast!!
