I have a pair of Graceline Express Trucks that need the wheelsets changed. I have never worked with these trucks before and am having difficulty figuring the disassembly. Anyone have any experience with them? or better yet an instructions sheet?

I pull a thread crossways thru the spring (between 2 coils) before I try to remove or install. Saves a lot of lost springs unless I forget. After install simply pull the thread thru.
I see how the brake beam ends fit, but am flummoxed how the bolster and sideframes are attached.

Rats. Now I have to go look for one of these in the Closet of Horrors. Probably on the Shelf of Extensive Pain.....
I did open up an end on the brake beam(s) and was able to gently bend the sideframe to get the wheelsets out. After wheel replacement, the sideframe(s) were bent back into position and paint touched up.
A bit nerve wracking, especially when trying to preserve the paint job.
Please turn the trucks upside down and look for the two brass pins on each end of the bolsters. Pull those pins and the trucks can be taken apart.
I've always found replacing the pins with small machine screws preferable. Easier to take apart for maintenance & painting.

Most of you probably already know this, but just in case. When assembling/disassembling things that have little tiny springs, c-clips, or other items that have a tendency to shoot off into dark corners, use a large clear freezer bag. The biggest you can get so you can get both hands in there to work with. The freezer bags are usually rigid and clear enough you can see what you are doing and reusable too. This may work for some and not for others.
I've spent many hours on the floor with a magnet.
