Gray Rubber Roadbed for O Gauge

Mike:   How many  031 curve pieces of the  "Johnson Rubber Roadbed"  are you looking for?   I have some that I can sell you in the gray. Some have the black ties painted on by the manufacturer, and some are left unpainted in the molded gray - Johnson stopped painting the black in.  I use a Black Magnum marker when I need to color the ties black to match sections already done.   

         I use the K-LINE O42 curve track which had a four tie arrangement, while Lionel, when they started to make the O42 curves, stayed with a three tie arrangement like their  O31 curves.   I don't know if I have any  O42 rubber roadbed to spare, as I use it under the tree and for some displays.   So how many do you think you need?   Sometimes, you have to buy them a couple pieces at a time, and accumulate them over time.   Let me know your needs, and I'll see if I can help you out.  Dennis M.

Never knew about the tie thing with the 42 track. The Lionel and K-Line radius in 42 track is way different.
