It was a good show but fewer dealers and buyers than usual.  But people were buying-all but me. I had some $$ but couldn't find anything. I couldn't go home empty handed with a full wallet so I bought a pre-war AF steam engine with "sold for parts, motor may run".  Put it on the test track and it lurched forward so I bought. It is an interesting piece of homemade repairs and needs a good cleaning. I cleaned it a little, lubed it and ran it on my layout. It is an AF, cast iron 2-4-2  without the front truck. Has a copper stack, steam dome and sand dome. Has a crude  home made draw bar which will be replaced. I have a nice tender to use with it. There was a bunch of Standard gauge and Marklin but I kept looking for some of the bigger Lionel cast engines and aw few. There is a Greenberg show in 2 weeks. I was told the hotel raised the rent quite a bit so the next show will be way south in Washington, Pa. so Steamer can zip over on I-70.
