I got after it the past two weekends, pulling a slew of cars from boxes and breaking them down for paint, interiors and lights. I have around 11 brass caboose to do, I am anticipating completion by midsummer. Here is an Oriental Models 30' GN steel caboose. I pulled the screws and base apart; removing the brake chain was actually quite delicate work---re installing will be a challenge.

Prep work to get the car ready, mask the exterior and interior took several hours; I will install slide glass next week---

I glassed in most of the windows today. Using microscope glass cut with a glass cutter.
