Sweet! Are they planning more of these?

Hello guys and gals.............
Where are the windows ?

Cabooses haven't had very many windows for years. Steel plate is so much cheaper than the impact resistant windows that are required nowadays.
I didn't think the Great Northern ever had any "wide vision" style cabooses, but that sure is a great looking paint job!

Not sure, but they may have originally been delivered in Big Sky Blue.
Rusty
Nice Rusty! Even has side windows AND marker lamps.
The GN had lots of International Car Co. Extended Vision cabooses. There were a few red (vermillion) XV cabooses, but the majority of them were Big Sky Blue. There are pictures in the various color guides, such Great Northern Steam and Electric In Color or Great Northern Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment. I am not sure they had a black roof, however, as this recent repaint in Seattle does, which is how most of the older GN wooden cabooses were painted.
