Went up today to Mentor to try and see Lehigh Valley Heritage ES44AC #8104 which did not come. But he will come through overnight. But here are the photos of the other trains I saw today.

Thank You. Yes, it was cold. Good side, there was no breeze. Also as each train passed me, the snow really didn't hit me. But yes it was worth it. My favorite photo from today is the UP ES44AC #8053 leading NS Westbound Freight 145 crossing Station Street in Mentor and NS C44-9W #9494 leading NS Eastbound Intermodal 206. But I also top rate the first photo of NS ES44DC #7583 leading NS Eastbound Intermodal 22K, which there was 3 inches of snow on the rail and ties covered and was gonig 60MPH!! I'll have that video up tomorrow. Amazing how the train just looks like it's gliding over the rail when snow falls. And yes Mentor got around 7 to 10 inches of LE overnight into today.
Excellent photos, Tom. The fresh, clean snow makes them even better.
I'm still not used to seeing UP locos in CLE.....but I like it!
Very good photos, the snow adds a touch of motion/speed that isn't always conveyed.
Thanks Tony & Chris.
Tony: Yea lately everytime I go out to watch trains or Railfan, I see quite a few NS trains with UP Power. Also CSX has been doing that. In my opinion, it's really really cool to see UP in Northeast Ohio. Adds variety of power to the East Coast Trains.
Chris: Yes the snow adds a lot to the trains when there moving at quick speed.
Also for everyday this week, I'll be adding the videos from yesterday. I'll be adding the videos to the very top of this topic. My last upload from yesterday will be this Saturday Feb 4th.
Added video 2 of 6 at top of topic. It's of NS Westbound Freight 145 leading by UP American Flag GEVO ES44AC #8053 & NS Dash 9 C44-9W #8908 running elephant style.
Love that video of the UP.....and now, I'm thinking about whether I want to pick up a Lionel version of something similar.
If you didn't know any better, you'd think that video was shot somewhere on The Plains between the Mississippi and the Rockies......not Mentor, OH.
