I like the video mainly because it proves that the hideous chuff sounds offered by Lionel and MTH are not even close to the actual. Love the silence.
That's because the 4501 is maintaining speed and not working hard uphill with a heavy train. Steam locomotives can be deceptively quiet at times.
It's louder here for a runby, although the Johnson bar still isn't in the corner and its still not working all that hard:
