Guidance needed to fix broken/missing coupler | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Can anyone identify the problem and recommend repair parts? I started my Christmas layout last night and discovered the coupler was missing from the tender. I acquired the Lionel 6-28656 Pennsy Berkshire Jr locomotive and tender and did not see the issue when I first tested it. Some pictures are attached. I cannot tell if the coupler or related assembly sheared off or is missing altogether. Thanks.

Here are the parts. It looks like the coupler is available.

Looks like you need number 4 and 22 from parts list.

Here's what mine looks like, and while not exact, it looks like the Phillips-head screw came loose and you lost the whole coupling assembly.
