GWR UK Steam Era freight cars

Looking for some advice to where I can obtain some Steam Era GWR freight cars to gov we ith a Hall class steamer. I saw some on a site from the UK but im totally lost. I know they have different couplings than lionel, but can at least one coupling be changed to hook up to lionel. Also will they roll on 3 rail. I was told they work on fine scale. Dont have a clue what you ine scale is. My next step would to convert some Thomas stuff. Rather have the more detailed though. Any advice would be appreciated.
