I have 5 engine's programed into my remote and TIU and everything had been working fine the last time i ran them a few days ago. well tonight my turbine started up in conventional with the TIU in the DCS mode,sure confused the heck out of me, i tried resetting the remote many times and also replace the batteries as the low alarm on remote was up.still to no avail, finally powered down the TIU again and disconnected leads from input 1 fixed in and fixed 1 out, still not working.and tried them on fixed input 2 and fixed ouput 2, still not working! So now I thought thus is redicousls and rehooked the leads back to input fixed 1 and out put fixed 1, in the mean time i pulled out the TIU USB cord! needless to say everything now worked, i guess you can't leave the USB cord plugged into the TIU or it thinks it still in the remote update feature as it appeared the remote kept locking up and the only way i could shut it down was take the batteries out.Well after taking the USB cord out all returned to normal. how does the TIU know if the cord is plugged in, the other end of the cord was not connected to anything!
