My family, having deep English roots, celebrates boxing day every year.  Usually we gather indoors for a huge party/feast and gift exchange.   However, due to the recent covid uptick ( two family members currently have covid and stayed home of course ),  we decided to have a boxing day dog walk along the old B&O Patuxent Branch.  After the walk we then got coffee and food at a European bakery and ate outdoors and later exchanged gifts.    Today's celebration was a nice change of pace!

In honor of my British heritage here are two photos of gifts I received from my British uncles when my age was in the high single digits.  Each year they would send a Corgi or Matchbox vehicle from England for my train layout.   I also have a Landrover pickup truck, however, couldn't quickly gather a photo of it.
