Thanks to Rod Miller for offering me a nice Atlantic at a handy price with damaged left eccentric that I could rob for replacement parts for the wiped-out eccentric on my ATSF one's right side. The eccentric challenged donor loco runs fine and will be passed on as addition no. 2 to my grandson's motive power roster.

The repair was done by my friend Dr. Mike Walter who is one of the two well known "O gauge Mikes" in Fort Worth who both run the Southwest O scale meet and... he has a fabulous 3 rail traditional and 2 rail scale layout. That meeting is held here every October and even though there is not a lot of 3 rail there, it's still a great event with layout tours and beautiful models.
