Ken, any word on the Lionel 100th anniversary GCT?

Also, if you find any Lionel or MTH Long Island Railroad C-420s or C-Liners hidden under cobwebs in dark forgotten corners of your stores in Gray and Orange paint schemes give me a shout!

I managed to snag the second version of the MTH GE Evolution Hybrid--love those charging lights--to join the alternate livery that I bought earlier.  That will pretty much have to be my last Christmas present to myself this year (unless my long-awaited MTH Climax set shows up at Dave Minarik's shop).

I ordered a MTH RailKing D&H RS-3 non-powered diesel to add to my MTH RS11 consist.  Thanks for the heads up, Ken!

According to the UPS shipping notification I just received, my order should arrive on Tuesday.  Definitely speedy service!  Thanks, TrainWorld!

Allan - Did you receive an email confirmation from TW or just the note from UPS. I haven't had either show up yet.

The last couple of times I've ordered from TW (very recently), the shipping emails have been generated by UPS, whereas the order confirmation email came from TW.

You mean your credit card company was blocking the charge without them notifying you?  That's kind of unusual.

Chip when I spoke to Lionel they said the 100th anniversary GCT won't be arriving till late December.  But you never know sometimes lol. 

 

Jeff,  Ill try to look into your issue.  I know sometimes when I place an order my credit card blocks me sometimes too.  Usually I just call up and verify that I want to place the order and it goes through.
