With Radio Shack winding down, I found some interesting items ah Harbor Freight.
First, they still sell rope. Something one can use for LASHUPS!
On a serious note they go sell small plastic boxes. One has various sizes of wire nuts. A second has various wire connectors, and ends like horseshoe. And a third has small sections of heat shirkable tubing. They do have others......

I buy some stuff at Harbor Freight. I think their heat shrink tubing is OK. The stuff I purchased came in long pieces, packed in a poly bag with a cardboard header to hang on pegboard. Their zip ties seem to be good too.
I don't care for their nuts, screws, and bolts.
Harbor Freight has these great parts boxes, that's what I put all my commonly used parts in. They also offer the larger ones, I have half a dozen of those with stuff like locomotives trucks, etc. I can look down and at a glance find the proper parts box to access the parts.
yes I have purchase there heat shrink kits assorted sizes perfect for putting ps 2 n 3 kits if i need something extra or special modifications
