My K-line S2 hit the floor and broke the front coupler I thought If I replaced both couplers with coil couplers and a tmcc board it would be more useful in switching operations. Has anyone done this?
Haven't done that but I'm in the process of converting a postwar Vulcan switcher. I'm using the early postwar coil couplers as they are smaller than the current ones. Biggest challenge would be fabricating mounts for the K-Line switcher, they would have to resist impacts.
