This was part of my childhood to go to Carver Massachusetts and ride the narrow gauge.

Good one to model as it just ran in a circle as do most model railroads.
No, but it sure would be fun to do.
Would be neat to model it the way it was back in the 70's, not so much now.
Definitely. I have a good book on the Maine Two footers.
I’m definitely giving it some thought. It would be pretty simple in regard to scenery with cranberry bogs and trees. I’m thinking about tiny red beads for cranberries. I agree with Gary that I would model the Edaville I remember not the basically the Thomas and amusement park it is today.
This is not my video but this is a sample of what it looks like today. Definitely nothing I remember but it would be a great place for your kids or grand kids.
I would agree with SUPERWARP1 , Do it from the 60's or 70's !
Keep us posted , plus pictures !
I love the Forney.
There is one that runs about 7 miles away at The Henry Ford/Greenfield Village in Michigan.. The last...?.
(That would make for another interesting loop; with all the historic buildings and such. I think it's a few miles tops as well.)

It's actually not a Forney. It's a Mason Bogie.
I didn't know others (except CN) used the base design. Thanks... Ive got something to look around for later. I know little to nothing about MB except the familiar name. I always placed the Forney as being very unique like a Shay, Climax, etc.
