No, because Rio Grande never had SD45T-2s.

They had SD40T-2s, which Lionel has done in Rio Grande.  I was tempted originally to get one of the Lionel models but I didn't like all the visual discrepancies with their model.  So until Lionel corrects them or MTH decides to do an SD40T-2, I guess I'll just stay with the MTH SD45T-2.

What would be really cool is if the SD40T-2 was offered in O gauge with either the standard or "snoot nose" configurations for the ill-fated Locotrol system in SP, SSW, & UP (post-SP merger) livery.

Snoot noses were also done on a number SD40-2s owned by UP, ATSF, & KCS so that would be cool of MTH or Lionel to offer as well since they both offer that model (SP/SSW & Rio Grande did not own any SD40-2s).

Of course if they did that, then I would have to insist that they offer both the 116" and 123" nose variations, according to the appropriate roadname and cab numers.   The 116" version was the most common, although I believe that ATSF's snoot noses were all of the 123" configuration.

As an aside, the SD45T-2s did not have snoot noses due to lack of room (short front & rear porches).
