I just looked at their website and got a message they are no longer taking on-line orders. They are closing? Sad news.

Yes. Unfortunately this was announced last week on the forum.
Sad to here that Lantz's is closing at one point 10-15 years ago they were a large operation with a dedicated shipping department. I ordered a large amount of inter-rail kits from they for my attic layout, as Lantz's was the only one to carry the item. This is not good news another fairly large Hobby Shop closing down.
Not sure how I missed this! I went today to check the status of a Lionel pre-order that I placed back in March of 2015. According to the Lionel shipping schedule, these two items (Command Control Culvert Loader and Unloader) haven't yet shipped. So, I guess that means I've saved almost $500 as I assume I will not be getting these. A third item I had also ordered, a Bucyrus Erie Culvert Gondola, must have shipped at some point but I never received it....and wasn't charged.
Sad to see them go but thank goodness they didn't charge deposit!!!
