If it has, then all seeking to buy an item should be advised to include a way to contact them in their posts. It's not a problem if the potential purchaser has an e-mail listed in his/her profile, but not everyone does.

Yes, the same policy/procedure is on both the For Sale or Trade and Wanted to Buy Forums. If they don't have a contact eMail address in their personal profile, then they are pretty much out of luck. Also a bit short on common sense!
