Doing my daily check in on the website shipping schedule and it is nowhere to be found. It never changed from December 14 so anybody hear anything? All I have heard is about emails to some dealers saying by Easter.

While on the subject; should we expect anything in the S version that is different from the O version?
I always found the way that American Flyer and Lionel looked at scale for their trains to be interesting. Some pieces look "too big," while others are "too small." And yet they all fit in somehow.
Will this tooling for the S Polar Express be merely a scaled down Lionel, or is it adapting the 4-8-4 or 2-8-2 tooling to make this 2-8-4? Are the passenger cars new paint styles on classic AF bodies? Or totally new tooling throughout?
From the photos and videos posted previously, the American Flyer Polar Express will have a scale proportioned Berkshire with correct tender. The cars are the new "Flyonel" heavyweight tooling. New tooling for engine and tender. Earlier catalog illustrations were not accurate.
