Probably an obvious question but......

Finally completed the new layout and in the process of unboxing and running locomotives.  I was hoping the MTH scale J 20-3365-1 would look better on this lay out, but it still looks as huge as it did on the last layout.  The Railking Imperials and Lionmaster look a ton better so I thought I would consider a semi scale replacement for the  20-3365-1.  After searching the various web sites and forum posts, it appears the last semi scale J produced was the 2015 MTH Railking Imperial (which fmany forum members loved at the time).

I did not remember and did not find anything more recent from Lionel such as a Lionchief or a Lionmaster product.  Did I miss one someplace and thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I believe the last non-scale J class that Lionel made was the TMCC Postwar based one included in the PWC "space" set they produced in 2007.

Re: Lionel, I wondered, it has been a long time for Lionel.  Makes me think there is hope for the next catalog- maybe a LC+ 2.0 version.

Mth 30-1789-1 Railking J class

Thanks, not sure why I did not find this but I thought there had been a more recent product than 2015.

Considering how Lionel has their new Legacy A class for the next catalog, a Lionchief J might not actually be outta the picture.
