When the switch is in the "turn" position, the red light on the controller is illuminated as expected.  However, when I use the controller to move the switch to the "straight" position, it moves OK, but BOTH the red light AND the green light on the controller come on, but dim, and I can't change the switch position with the controller any more.  The switch is powered with a constant 14-15 volts from the 275 Watt ZW transformer.  I have tried every possible combination of the 3 wires from the controller to the 3 switch posts, the only other scenario I have observed is the exact opposite of this one:  the switch is in the "straight" position and the green light on the controller is on, using the controller flips the switch position, both lights on the controller come on dimly, and then the controller will not change the switch position.   Any ideas on how to correct this situation.  Both the switch and the controller are new.   Thanks for any help.   Gene

First determine if the problem is the switch or the controller.

Provided the O22 is in a common ground scheme with fixed voltage plugs:

1) Remove all wires from the 3 motor terminals.

2) Use a screwdriver or conductive material of choice and short the center terminal to a side terminal. If the switch is already in that position, it won't move. Then short the center post to the other terminal, it should move to that position. Once you have shown both outside terminals operate the frog in opposite directions, you know the switch is good and the problem is in your wiring/controller - otherwise, it is in the switch.
