A late running Amtrak 20 arrives into Gainesville with Phase IV Heritage unit 184 second out. This was nice to see because it was like a scene out of my childhood. A phase V engine, a phase IV engine, a phase III baggage car, and some phase IVb cars. Really nice!
After the train pulled into the station, I ran up the Athens street to catch it again, and we see the two P42's notching up quickly as they race towards Toccoa, Greenville, Salisbury, Washington, and New York City.
