With Lionel's announcement of Howard Hitchcock as the new president of Lionel, I thought it would be an appropriate time to re post our interview with him from this past summer. I think this interview is a good overview of his management style and some of his goals for Lionel. Bottom line is that I think he's the right person for the job and I wish him the best of success.

Thanks Derek! All of your interviews are greatly appreciated. With all of the rumors and speculation that tend to run rampant on this forum, its nice to hear directly from the "source(s)" on things.
Hype and buzz to me are as effective as Somonex. If the CEO can put quality product out, or continue to put it out, at reasonable prices, THEN I might get interested. Maybe if companies did more of the later than the former, their sales and profits might increase.
