I've decided to place my SP GP-60 back into service instead of trying to sell it.

Sure, it doesn't match the early 1940's-era consist of my beloved Calico Freight Lines desert railroad, but at least it has a Western road name and a really beautiful-sounding horn...much more melodious than the blatt of my GP-35 horn or the rasp of my SW-9 switcher.

That's it...

I'm sorry, Suzukovich, but  I don't know what a "way car" is, and I don't know what you mean by "EV"either.

My "Calico Freight Lines" is indeed a real railroad on my layout, not a museum piece!

It probably is an "excursion line", because there are no revenue-producing industries on the route.  Please...just let me continue to have my fun with my little Railroad!

Way Car other wise known as a Caboose,  EV equals Extended vision Caboose. Happy new year.

Thanks, Suzukovich!

I always referered to cabooses as Palace Cars or Crummies.

Is your name Russian or Ukrainian?

My Mom came to this country as a litttle girl from the Ukraine in 1923.

She arrived in New York aboard the SS Olympic, which was the sister ship of the Titanic.

Both were built side-by-side in the Belfast shipyards...the Olympic was the first to be launched in 1911.

That's all...

HEY SUZUKOVICH.....

I see what you mean by the Caboose not fitting...you're right, its a SF and the engine is an ESPEE!  It's politically incorrect to have the Caboose not matching the road name of the Locomotive!

I can fix that.
