Can anyone tell me what the number is of the engine in the picture? My books are all in NJ and I am in Florida.

It is one of the 3300 series of engines. When it has both a red firebox light and a ringing bell it is a 3326. It goes by other numbers when one or both of those features are missing. This particular series of engines can be difficult to identify the exact number. It is known as the Type VIII boiler casting. It was cataloged from 1931 through 1937. The photo shows it with a sheet metal semi-Vanderbilt tender. I am not sure that it originally came with that tender. It might have had the die cast semi-Vanderbilt tender.

according to the Schuweiler text, the 3194 (Type IX, 8-wh Semi-Vanderbilt sheet metal) tender was paired with the Type VIII locomotive in one variation, but he has it listed with the Cat No. 3322 locomotive while the engine pictured is clearly a 3325 model.
when you consider the timeframe of this production being close to the end of Chicago Flyer, i wouldn't rule out any possible matchup, though.
